Dienece placed 3rd in the 2021 Stories of Life Short Category
A huge thank you to Stories of Life for this opportunity, the judges who selected my story for publication, and for the judge who awarded me third place in the short (less than 500 words) category. They even discussed making my little story the title story, and I'm flattered but "Labyrinth and other stories" is an awesome name for the 2021 Stories of Life anthology. I'm so excited to be apart of this anthology. Stories of life are short (500-1,500 word) autobiographies and biographies of faith.
So excited!
While parents are generally considered the ones who teach their children, most of us, if we're being honest, learn quite a lot from our children. I took one of the lessons God taught me (at almost midnight) and wrote a little story about it. I hope it blesses those who read it and reminds them of our wonderful God.
